Sugar Painting with Candy

When I was in Jiaxing, China… I came across something unique. A seller making sugar candies in shape…I assume he does all that mythical Chinese symbols like the dragon, snake, rooster etc.

Sugar painting (糖画) is a traditional Chinese form of folk art using hot, liquid sugar to create two dimensional figures. This snack is popular among children. Selecting a figure is normally determined by spinning the arrow on a wheel

Looks cool yeah… some hands he got there…wonder how long it took it to perfect his skills
